LOG Homes - Standard Kit Specification:

Floor zones:	Solid sawn timber floor joists as engineers specification. Optional engineered I-joists or Eco-joists Materials for carrying beam. 18mm OSB or V313 t & g flooring grade board for sub-floor. Logsiding for skirting boards.
Log Walls:	Quality approved seasoned Eastern White Pine or Cedar. Red Cedar on request. Triple T & G precision pre-cut to plan details, numbered and pre-drilled for through-bolts. Factory pre-stain application. High-Tech triple system* Corners can be interlocking, butt or pass jointed.
Gable Ends:	Solid precision pre-cut logs to roof pitch.
Roof Structure:	Post & Beam style with50mm x 150mm kiln dried spruce decking 2 x layers of rigid insulation with sheathing over 20 year asphalt shingles, with pine facia. Optional: Douglas fir or Parallam beams.
Windows:	Pine windows, double glazed with insect screens. Optional: aluminium with choice of RAL colours, red cedar or Rehau UPVc Wood-grain finish
External Door:	Pre-hung steel insulated door.
Caulking:	Sufficient quantity for logs, windows and installation for your design choice.
Log treatment:	First coat "Timbercare".
First floor or Loft area:	Structural timber purlins with 50mm x 150mm kiln dried spruce decking.
Dormers:	50mm x 150mm framing with sheathing and log siding. Roof structure as above.
Internal Finish:	To clients own specifications and priced on request.
