Timber Engineering Europe have joined with Country Life Homes of Nova Scotia Canada to bring you the very best in Traditional Canadian Log Homes. Timber Engineering Europe have always balanced modern methods of construction with ecological ethics and once again we have achieved this unique high standard with our Country Life Homes alliance.

Traditional Log Home Packages
Our log home packages generally include all the materials necessary to build the weather tight shell of your new log home. Designed with construction ease in mind, building is simplified due to pre-cutting and numbering of key pieces to minimize on-site cutting and avoiding any confusion. They can be installed on any standard foundation that meets your local building codes. Each home package is complete and ready to assemble. We can not be compared to other log home companies that provide incomplete packages, cheap foreign imports or sub-standard materials and unsuitable timbers. Because we want to offer our homes to you at the best possible prices without compromising quality and service, we have designed four basic packages as follows:

1. The complete kit packed in containers and ready for shipping.
2. The complete kit delivered to your site in Europe (inc UK) for self erecting.
3. The complete kit delivered and erecting is supervised by our UK and Canadian Engineers.
4. The complete kit is delivered and erected by our UK and Canadian Engineers and Crew.

This traditional system has been tried and tested for over a century in very demanding conditions.

Timber Engineering Europe "Country Life" laminated logs are the driest, strongest, and the most stable logs available. Our lamination process virtually eliminates twisting, warping, checking, and most importantly the shrinking and settling that occurs with other log home systems.
Glued under high pressure, these laminated logs are then dried and ready for milling and are available in the sizes: 100mm x 200mm (4"x8"), 150mm x 200mm (6"x8") and 200mm x 200mm (8"x8") in 3 different profiles:

"D-Log" - round on the outside, square on inside
"Square Log" - square on outside and inside
"Round Log" - round on outside and inside
