Timber Engineering Europe have designed and developed a range of affordable high spec houses that offer comfortable all year round living. The concept is based on sound Timber Frame engineering principles, adopted and proved over several centuries. All the Hybrids shown in this brochure can be supplied up to 100m2. Over this size, we can supply any type shape and up to 7 floors high as a fully engineered Timber Frame building. Most illustrations show a wood-clad exterior, but you can choose any finish just as a conventional house - e.g. Stone - Render - Bricks etc.

PURCHASE OPTION PLANS

This is a unique opportunity to own a quality home at a budget set by you, as we have approached the supply of our homes in quite a radical way. We can be a one stop shop or you can opt to use as few or as many of our services as you require and the final cost of the house is decided accordingly

SELF BUILD: We supply the basic kit to site and you and/or your sub-contractors do the rest.
MANAGED OPTION: You select the input you want from us using our "tick list" and we complete the operations you have specified whilst you do the rest.
KEY READY: We do a complete build for you. If you are not resident we will keep you updated with photos and reports on progress.
Irrespective of which option you decide on, we will always be available to advise and assist you with your project.
EACH KIT IS a standard supply and you can increase the sizes to suit your project. We also supply a list of components and services that we provide and you can order any items as extra to the standard kit, to suit your pocket

ECOLOGY:

All timber used in our kits is from renewable sources and grown for the construction industry. In fact there is an annual surplus of 252 million cubic metres AFTER harvest!
This means we are adding an area the size of Cyprus each year to the forests of the world. Not only do we protect the environment in this way, but all the growing trees take in carbon dioxide and emit oxygen another environmental contribution to our planet.

CODES AND REGULATIONS:

All our components comply with UK Building Regulations (Possibly the highest standards in the world) and the new Eurocode 5. All load-bearing timbers are CLS, stress graded, kiln dried and vac-vac treated with a waterborne preservative so you can rest assured you are getting the very best.
